We are a small scale Labrador Retriever breeder based out of Albury, NSW Australia.
Approximately 3.5 hours north of Melbourne, VIC.
Approximately 6 hours south of Sydney, NSW.
Our vision
Our vision is to breed and raise puppies that make the perfect addition to families (or singles!) who enjoy the great outdoors and getting active!
Breeding goals
Labrador retrievers are one of the most popular breeds of companion dog in the world! (And for good reason!) However, not all Labradors are bred equally, nor for the same purposes. It is important when selecting a Labrador from a breeder, that the breeders goals align with your personal requirements for a dog.
At Gracevale Labradors, our breeding goals are to produce healthy puppies that possess the following qualities:
- Temperamentally sound;
- Intelligence;
- Confidence and resilience;
- DNA cleared of hereditary diseases;
- Functional confirmation and structure;
- Medium to strong retrieve drive;
- Soft mouths; and
- medium working drive (ideal for agility, obedience, hiking, recreational hunting etc)
Our goal is to breed puppies that will make the perfect addition to any home that is truly active, enjoys the great outdoors, and has an understanding of the true commitment it takes to raise a genetically fulfilled, well balanced and socialised dog.
